Last saturday night the International Supercross Race in Costa Rica was held in the SX 2 class Joey Rossi from the USA took part on a Husqvarna (TC 250). The very humble 21- year old won the second heat race of the class and set the fastest qualifying time earning first gate pick for the main event. In the main event he started third and by the end of lap three he passed Michael Clarke (from the USA also) for the lead! After that he began pulling away each lap until lappers helped Clarke cut this distance short and eventually attempted a block pass that sent both to the ground. This gave Pette Castillo from Guatemala and Andres Benenaula from Ecuador the first two positions. Joey remounted in third and with just a couple of laps for the finish he was only able to climb up to second by the end of the race. Castillo won, Rossi second and Benenaula third. Joey although did set the fastest lap time again and won all the fans with his great riding skills and his awesome interview.
